This is Kramer, a sweet Schnauzer that had a terrible life for the first 10 years on Earth. You see, according to his neighbors, Kramers owners left him tied up to a tree for 10 years. No one thought to call a rescue organization or for animal cruelty assistance, they would just hear him crying all day & all night. A new neighbor moved into the condo next to Kramers house & heard his cries for help
he knew he had to do something. After attempting to speak civilly with Kramers owners about letting him inside, he got the door slammed in his face - so he took matters into his own hands. This amazing gentleman climbed their wall every night for six months with food, water & blankets to try and make Kramer more comfortable
until the neighbors caught him and told him never to come back. He knew it was time to get poor little Kramer out of there for good so he sneaked over & saved this malnourished, abused & scared little soul. Before he could get into trouble, he got in touch with Shirley at Pooch Heaven who graciously took him in to her own home where he remained for six months until he died from kidney failure - brought on by his owners neglect. Those last six months were his best - he was kept comfortable, safe & given enough love to last a lifetime. Please try to assist us save other poor souls like Kramer by any donation that you can afford.

Virginia, one of our many volunteers, came across a 3 year old Chihuahua mix while visiting a local shelter. She learned that the dog, which later became known as Princess, was pregnant and that by law, the shelter would have to abort the puppies and alter Princess before she could be adopted. Our volunteer agreed to adopt Princess and her new family in exchange for the shelter allowing Princess to have her puppies in their hospital. We're happy to report that Princess had her puppies in February. Mommy and babies are happy and healthy. Princess and her babies have all found wonderful homes thanks to our volunteer, Virginia.
